CECI DANFORTH
Let's collaborate! You'll get "small shop" attention powered by a broad range of knowledge and experience that helps inform every aspect of identifying strategy and planning to produce effective, successful events.
I got my start in a public radio newsroom. I've served as publicist for two theaters and an MFA program, provided project management in the busy publications office at a major state university, ran marketing and PR at several landmark music venues and a couple of music festivals, worked at hand-coding and thinking big as part of the groundbreaking online team at the Portland Press Herald/Maine Today, and spent time building community at a beloved nonprofit music school before landing at Maine Coast Heritage Trust, one of the leading forces in Maine's land conservation community.

For nearly a decade at MCHT, I created and produced a wide range of events for donors and the general public. Remote island adventures, sunset cocktail cruises, initmate sit-down dinners, stand-up cocktail parties, community festivals, educational Zoom series, online contests, Giving Tuesday campaigns, family friendly outdoor experiences, nature hikes, kayak paddles -- you name it, I've done it.

When I'm not dreaming up new ways to throw a good party, you'll find me outside hiking, skiing, on the water, walking the dog, foraging for mushrooms, and exploring the backroads and small towns of this great state of ours.
